BOKARINA BOULEVARD PARK

Public BBQ

A well-planned Sunshine Coast park a short walk from Bokarina beach, with bush walkways and cycleways running through to the sand. The playground is the strength — laid out for a wide age range, on soft fall, with shade sails over most of it, swings, slides, water sprays for hot days and a small bike track for toddlers, plus enough smooth path for scooters. Picnic facilities are generous: numerous tables and barbecues, several undercover, kept consistently clean, with more seating scattered through the grounds and plenty of open grass. Public toilets are well distributed and reasonably well kept. Dogs are welcome, with both on-leash and off-leash areas nearby. Cafes and restaurants sit just across the boulevard, several with dog-friendly outdoor seating. The barbecue tables and stools are set high, which does not suit older visitors.
